TIDKIN SIMMENTALS

The Tidkin herd are members of the Hi Health Scheme

 

All young stock enjoyed a clear screen for BVD and were tested negative for IBR in October 2010.

All adult stock were found to be clear of Johne’s disease at the same time.

The herd will therefore be accredited against BVD and Johnes if tests in October 2011 are returned clear and is currently classed as first qualifying test passed.

The herd is in a 4 year TB testing area.

Young stock are vaccinated against BVD and IBR to protect them in the future.
